The heated debates in the face of the campaign "Expropriate Deutsch Wohnen & Co.", which pillories the business practices of the real estate giants, clearly expose the foundations of the capitalist social order - private ownership of means of production and land - and the profane interest associated with it: profit. The issue analyzes the political economy of property, the struggles that it ignites - not only with respect to the municipalization of housing - and explores the perspectives and limits of cooperatives and economic democracy.
