Ökonomische Transformation, Staat und moralische Ressourcen in den post-sozialistischen Gesellschaften

Abstract

Using Staniszkis' concept of »political capitalism« a frame for a comparative analysis of transformation trajectories is built. Different forms of political capitalism are defined by specific characteristics of the state, but also different patterns of cultural integration are taken into consideration. The efficiency of democratic institutions depends especially on such frames.
