Out now - PROKLA 198: Global material flows and international division of labour
The new issue of PROKLA has been published. This time with the main topic: "Global material flows and international division of labour". For decades, global inequalities have repeatedly come to the fore - be it in connection with debt, commodity wars or migration movements. Prokla 198 now deals with the global dependencies of our economic order. The diversity of products manufactured in individual countries and their position in the international financial system are constitutive here, but no less relevant are political influence and colonial continuities.
The texts focus on asymmetric material and resource flows that contribute to global economic and ecological inequalities, with Karin Fischer, Anke Schaffartzik, Franziska Kusche, Joachim Becker, Rudy Weissenbacher, Fabricio Rodríguez and others writing in the main focus. Outside of the focus area, we continue the debate on the strategic and theoretical interpretation of right-wing populism with contributions by Tobias Haas and Stefanie Hürtgen, among others. Stephan Lessenich also responds to Martin Kronauer's plea for a "right to work" from PROKLA 197.
PROKLA 198 is now available in bookshops. We are even more pleased about new subscribers. Who does not have a subscription yet, can subscribe here.
