In dem Beitrag wird vorgeschlagen, die Konzepte des Metabolismus der sozialen Reproduktion und des metabolischen Risses sowie eine materialistische Konzeption des arbeitenden Köpers in die soziale Reproduktionstheorie zu integrieren. Konkret werden die zeitlichen und räumlichen Konflikte der Arbeiter*innen in der brasilianischen und portugiesischen Flugindustrie um Arbeitsschutz und körperliche Unversehrtheit in den Blick genommen. Mit dieser empiriegeleiteten Analyse wird ein Begriff von Ausbeutung vorgeschlagen, der diese nicht auf die Werttheorie reduziert, aber auch nicht davon trennt.
