In this essay, I criticise fragmented feminist politics and advocate for Promethean’ thinking – ambitious, technology- and system-oriented politics against neoliberal capitalism. How can Prometheanism be reconciled with feminist concerns, especially in relation to social reproduction and the domestic sphere? With reference to feminist debates on housework, especially since the 1970s, the possibility of automating housework and reproductive processes is explored: How can technology radically overcome ›domestic realism‹ and the ideas and realities of work and family?Downloads
