In defense of life
About the Corona Pandemic, the socio-ecological large-scale crisis and the possibility of a new concept of socialism

The corona pandemic has anticipated the looming socio-ecological system crisis and points to an ultimately antagonistic relationship between capital and life. This contradiction raises the question whether anti-capitalist alternatives should not be fundamentally rethought as »projects of life«. In this sense, the author pleads for a concept of socialism that, while continuing to name the question of property as a central power relationship, is based on a care paradigm as outlined in queer-feminist debates - the care for human beings, life in general and social relations.Downloads
